What is a blog: a new look

A blog is a place where others can give their view on a certain subject and view others opinions and then comment on them to show other how others think on the subjects of the time. Some of the blogs that were the most interesting to me were the ones were you really had to think about the topic. Those were: if black English isn’t English then what is, middle schoolers get the pill, the fallacies, and the looking back on the two papers and seeing what we could have done better to make the paper an even better paper.
When responding to the different posts by the others in class, I had to keep an open mind about it. I know not every one in class has the same views on the different subjects as me. So I had to see how they presented their views and then I would say what I liked about the post then I would say what I did not like about the post. The blogs that were the most interesting for me to read were the ones belonging to Baeley, Cari, Elijah, and Ben. Those were the most insightful blogs and they really put their emotions and views into the post, which was fun for me to read. The responders that I liked were the ones listed and the teacher. They agreed and made me think about my view of the issue which most people cannot do or try to do.
Over the semester the blogs got more and more in-depth and more thought provoking and that was a way for me to share my views with others that are at the same intellectual stage as I am. Though some did not agree with me and some did, this has given me a new out-look on how I see the world. Though the blogs themselves were not that hard, they made you think and some of the topics were “eye openers”. The real eye openers were: the web site analysis, middle schoolers get the pill, and if black English isn’t English then tell me what is. Those were shocking to see how in today’s world that the young are getting more rebellious which in turn makes our country look like a place were we do not care what happens to our young. Also that we are so short sighted when it comes to the origins of others that we forget that they have their own language and we torn them away from it.
So this semester has come and gone with amazing speed, it feels like January when we first began the fun and now its April and we are closing in on finals and the summer. So what have I learned from posting blogs. I have learned that it may not be that every one thinks that I’m an odd person, it’s that what I say and post makes it seem like that. I have also learned to keep and open mind about the different topics and to think thoroughly through them to see what cannot be seen. So in the future I know that there is more the story then the headlines, there is the story that we need to find by searching and by thinking.
